The Scientific Research Center Council in Buraydah Colleges
Based on the decision of the General Supervisor, the Council of the Scientific Research Center was formed on 4/3/1443 AH corresponding to 10/10/2021 AD as follows:

Main tasks
1. Suggesting and updating general policies for scientific research in colleges
2. Proposing the annual scientific research plan, preparing the necessary draft budget, and approving it by the competent authorities within the colleges.
3. Activate the center’s page on the colleges home page and create the necessary electronic forms (submitting projects, applying for research excellence award and research awards. etc).
4. Propose and update regulations for research projects
5. Suggesting and updating regulations for research excellence reward and publication reward
6. Suggesting and updating the regulations for participation in conferences and scientific symposia inside and outside the Kingdom.
7. Motivating faculty members in faculties to do scientific research, coordinating research projects between faculty members between faculties (integrative research), and providing means and capabilities to help prepare and publish them efficiently.
8. Re-formation of the Scientific Research Ethics Committee at the college level, approving the executive regulations for research ethics on living creatures issued by the National Bioethics Committee, and preparing some electronic forms for submission.
9. Studying research projects of faculty members and the like and following up on their implementation.
10. Recommend spending from the established research budget within the powers regulating this.
11. Technical and administrative supervision of the center's various activities, setting plans and work programs, and following up their implementation.
12. Suggesting plans to establish research laboratories and equip laboratories with supplies and equipment according to the needs of the colleges, as required by the interest of scientific research
13. Recommending the adoption of the annual report and the necessary annual budget prepared by the Director of the Scientific Research Center and submitting it to the competent authority for approval
14. Reviewing the files of applicants for promotion and expressing their opinion before sending them to any scientific council in public universities
